Volunteer Vacancies

Volunteer with us

We are always keen to welcome new volunteers, so whether you’re a whizz with spreadsheets, love being on social media, or don’t mind a bit of cleaning or maintenance, then we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for a volunteer project supervisor to help with an exciting tiny refurb of our new office.

We have a huge array of people volunteering to help but we need an experienced, retired builder or tradesperson who would project manage through to completion.

If you are interested and have a free day or two a week to help, please do get in touch as we would welcome a coffee and a chat.

Please contact Carrie at carrie@fsnb.org.uk

Fundraising Administrative Volunteers

To provide administrative support to the Fundraising Team either on a Monday or Tuesday. Key activities will include photocopying, typing letters, updating the database, excel spreadsheets, stuffing envelopes, and making telephone calls.

You will have excellent keyboard skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Fundraising Research Volunteers

Do you have a thing about spreadsheets, enjoy working with Excel? If so, then we are looking for you? Are you free to volunteer on a Monday or Tuesday to research potential supporters, pull together, and data input to our fundraising database?

This will be a new project for FSnb of which you will be helping us from conception. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required.

Box Collectors

This is a flexible role that offers you the chance to coordinate your fundraising around other commitments.

We have collecting pots across Suffolk and Norfolk in local shops, bars, newsagents, and restaurants. We are always looking for new opportunities to put more out, as well as reliable volunteers to look after the ones currently distributed.

Event Volunteers

We are regularly invited to attend events across Suffolk and Norfolk. When attending these events, it’s an ideal platform for us to promote the work we do and raise vital funds.  We are invited to village fetes, fairs, county shows, these are fun events and you get to meet people, and visit parts of Suffolk and Norfolk you may not have been to before.

Would this be the role for you?

Store and Supermarket Collectors

Are a big part of what we do, a day’s collection can sometimes rise up to £400, we are looking for volunteers to organise the collections and also the collectors.  If you like meeting people, are happy to organise a small rota of volunteers or would like to collect for an hour or two then we would like to hear from you.

For more information on any of these vacancies and opportunities for fundraising please contact Carrie Baker at carrie@fsnb.org.uk or by telephone at 01473 705111.

Fresh Start new beginnings are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
