Trusts and Grants Fundraiser

We are looking for an experienced Trust and grants fundraiser to join our growing charity to help us deliver life changing support to children and young people who have disclosed child sexual abuse.  Fresh Start new beginnings is a well-established local children’s charity working with children within Suffolk and Norfolk.

This year we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and looking to grow our team and services to meet the ever growing need and change to support children up to the age of 18.  We are looking to recruit an experienced Trusts & Grants Fundraiser keen to work alongside our Income Generation Team and Service Delivery Team.

We are looking to increase our turnover to enable the team to work with an ever increasing number of children and offer new services.

The successful candidate will work closely with our service delivery team and managers, writing reports and delivering on KPIs. You will help us to maximise the larger grants and help create high quality applications and reports for our funders. Leading independently in preparing and writing high quality applications to trusts. You will be responsible for many of our partnerships, meeting, monitoring, and reporting requirements, and maximising income generation and relationship longevity.

You will proactively identify trusts funding sources, and assess for suitability. In collaboration with colleagues, develop and maintain a pipeline of all potential grant giving organisations to approach in line with our operational needs.

You will be part of our dynamic and passionate team helping to make a significant contribution to the development of strategy, planning, and tactics in relation to trusts and grants fundraising.

Working with the Managing Director and Team Managers you will ensure that all bids meet the expectations of the funders whilst accurately reflecting the strategic priorities and operational capabilities of FSnb.

Clinical Psychologist specialising in treatment of child sexual abuse.

Suffolk/ Norfolk: 14-21 hours per week

Salary: From £47,000-£50,000 NHS band 8A pro rata negotiable

Fresh Start new beginnings is a well-established Suffolk/Norfolk children’s charity providing therapeutic services to children and young people up to 18 who have disclosed child sexual abuse. We are looking to recruit an experienced Qualified Child Clinical Psychologist – interested in specialising in child sexual abuse with a salary linked to NHS Band 8a who will provide a Clinical Lead to a team of Child Sexual Abuse specialists. The post will be based within Suffolk/Norfolk with hybrid working.

As Clinical Lead you will be instrumental in the ongoing development and clinical oversight of the services we deliver, meeting the needs of our children.

We are looking to grow our team of 14 full and part-time practitioners who currently support approximately 220 children each year within Suffolk & Norfolk.  We as a charity are continually working to reach more children, developing additional services and interventions to meet growing demands.

This position offers a great opportunity for the successful candidate to grow and develop their expertise along with the charity.

Ideally, you will have clinical experience working within a small organisation, department or unit, having gained specific experience and oversight of therapeutic interventions, assessment, and session plans. You will be working alongside our Suffolk & Norfolk Team Managers who support the team with day-to-day service delivery.  You will be responsible for the clinical supervision of the teams together with identifying training plans and approaches, these specialist skills and experience is a must within this position

The charity has adopted Trauma Informed Care practices and will be looking for the Clinical Lead to be instrumental in the ongoing development and delivery of our services.

Accreditation with BACP/UKCP or a similar appropriate body is a minimum requirement. Based locally with some virtual work.
