Fresh Start for A Plan Insurance

15th March 2017

Yes please she said…… When Fundraising Manager Patsy Johnson-Cisse received a call from A Plan Insurance asking if they could adopt Fresh Start – New Beginnings as their charity of the year of course she said YES………….

A Plan Insurance have moved into new offices in Bury St Edmunds Town Centre, Brentgovel Street and will be starting off the year getting to know local people and in turn supporting local children’s charity Fresh Start who supports children who have suffered from sexual abuse.

Dan from A Plan Insurance said “When I heard about the work that Fresh Start – New Beginnings does, our new team were unanimous on the decision to support them” We will be holding events throughout the year, we have three staff members planning on doing a skydive, in the better weather but kicked off the support with a open Hog roast on 7th January, a photo booth and selfies for 14th January and then on 28th January we have Bat Man and Robin together with their Batmobile coming along to the Arc, Bury St Edmunds, where children can meet the duo and have photos taken with the Batmobile and the super heroes.

Dan from Aplan said, we are really pleased to be moving into Bury St Edmunds, our branch is close to the town centre and we want to help local people. The whole team are new, we are all very friendly, please feel free to drop in or pick up the phone for a free quote.  We are looking forward to becoming part of the community.   Our big money raiser for Fresh start we believe is that for everyone who asks for an house or car insurance quote the charity will receive £5, if they decide to go with the quote the charity receives another £20.  The more people who mention Fresh Start when they come into see us the more money we will raise for the charity raises.

As a small charity, we really do rely on the support of the local community, businesses and volunteers.  We would not be able to do the work we do and raise he funds to provide the help and support to the children.  Having a new local business adopting Fresh Start New Beginnings as charity of the year will really help us raise the profile and funds needed.  I am looking forward to meeting staff and customers this Saturday 14th January.  Come along between and 1pm and take a selfie in our phot booth have fun and support Fresh Start New beginnings.
