How can we help you?FSNB can help you to help yourself out of the cycle of reoffending in many ways including:
Who else benefits? It is of course recognised that in addition to the difficulties that an ex-prisoner faces on release, the hidden victims of crime - families and friends - are often overlooked when we think through the pressures and stress people undergo at this time. Everyone who is personally connected to the individual who has been released from custody experiences a period of adjustment and uncertainty. One of the important roles of the project is to offer support for everyone concerned with your return to the community. This support has many forms including friendship and advice and guidance for both you and your family. Am I Suitable?Unfortunately, not everyone who applies will be able to be part of this project. This is due to the restrictions that their offence and criminal history brings about. It is a requirement that we disclose your current offence and some of your criminal history to the parties that will be involved in your support network. The project will also be seeking a risk assessment to be completed before any offer of employment or housing is made.
